The effects of the Internet on the necessity of preserving religion and how to protect it

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions. The effects of the Internet are a double-edged sword. It has negative and positive effects on users in general and on the Islamic religion in particular. Today, we see a group of users who spread the Islamic religion, call for it, and teach it to people through useful websites, and there is a category that offends the Islamic religion, such as insult, slander and assault. On the prophets and messengers, and offending the Islamic culture, for religion in its existence and preservation, religion takes priority among the five necessities, that are the purposes of the legislator, and the interests of the people are met. So it is possible to spread the religion and call to God through the Internet, and spread awareness among Muslims, because it facilitates communication with scholars, and responding to suspicions and arguments that are raised about Islam, and its great role in opening the horizons of religious education, as in YouTube, distance education programs and others.. Its negatives, like other technologies, may be offending the Islamic religion and its culture by some users or distorting its image, or encouraging cultural deviation, shaking beliefs and causing disturbances, and , it is possible to protect the true religion through this network and exploit it with useful things by strengthening the religious scruples of the people; This is done by broadcasting extensively systematic religious and educational materials over the Internet, and by intellectuals and scholars establishing integrated Islamic websites in various fields of life and human knowledge, and setting strict laws that prevent attacks on it.
